Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Give us your email and we send the books. We'll also email you the next books as they're finished, plus occasional owner-builder tips. You can unsubscribe anytime.

How long does the Build Plan take to read?

About fifteen minutes. It's 18 pages: 13 steps, one page each, with a picture that shows the idea.

When do the other books arrive?

As each one is finished, we email everyone on the list. The Field Manual is next, then the State-by-State Reference.

Do I need to live in the Carolinas?

No. The examples come from South Carolina and North Carolina, but the Field Manual and the State-by-State Reference are written for the lower 48 states. Every rule is different by state, so each book tells you what to check and who to call where you live.

Is this legal or financial advice?

No. The books are education, not legal or financial advice. Check every rule in your state before you rely on it.

Carolina Build Journey provides advisory coaching only. The homeowner is always the builder of record.
